How long does a ride on the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel take?
One ride takes approximately 12–15 minutes.
How many people fit in one wagon?
Each wagon can accommodate up to 15 people.
Am I allowed to bring food and drinks into the train carriages?
Unfortunately, eating and drinking are not permitted in our carriages. Please refer to our carriage regulations for further information.
How do I get to the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel by public transport?
We’re easy to reach via the Praterstern stop:
- Underground U1, U2
- S-Bahn S1–S3, S7, S15
- Tram O, 5
- Bus 80A.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes! Dogs are very welcome – please bring a leash and a muzzle.
Am I allowed to smoke in the wagons?
No, smoking is prohibited in the wagons. Please refer to our carriage regulations for further information.
Tickets & Prices
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
No reservation needed – simply purchase your tickets online or directly at our cash desk.
How long are online tickets valid?
Our regular online tickets are valid during opening hours on the booked date. Our FlexTickets are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
Up to what age does the child ticket price apply?
The children’s rate applies to children aged 3–14 years.
Can I rent a wagon privately?
Yes, private rental of a wagon is possible, depending on availability and guest volume, for a minimum rental period of half an hour. This allows the unique view from the world’s oldest Ferris wheel to be enjoyed in an intimate setting. For an unparalleled culinary experience, our gourmet wagons can also be rented exclusively.
